This noncomedogenic, paraben-free, fragrance-free and sensitivity-free sunscreen for oily skin can be used alone or under makeup for full sun protection. UV Shield has SPF 45 and 9% zinc oxide, one of the highest levels available in a sunscreen. It is formulated with Z-Cote, a long-lasting, micronized (very small) zinc oxide. Unlike conventional zinc oxide sunscreen, those with micronized zinc oxide are less likely to irritate skin, wear away or leave a white cast. It is also known for its ability to prevent sun damage and premature aging by blocking a larger range of UV rays than any other ingredient.
